I would claim both (1) and (2) horrid failures. (1) will eventually turn
the USA into _exactly_ what the worst USA-bashers believe they are
now. What will be next? Depose the Saudi Tyranny? Invade Venezuela
and replace Chavez by some employee of Texaco? Force India to give
Cashmir to Pakistan?
