A Brief Analysis of the Domestic Security Enhancement Act 2003, Also
Known as Patriot Act II

(Section 802 is the new definition of domestic terrorism, and the
definition is "any action that endangers human life that is a violation
of any Federal or State law.")
Nice broad definition. Driving at 100 mph (sorry, Alberto) on a busy Interstate must be a violation of some Federal or State law, and it definitely endangers human life. So, under Section 802 even a traffic violation is now an act of terrorism.

And then there is Section 411:

SECTION 411 expands crimes that are punishable by death. Again, they
point to Section 802 of the first Patriot Act and state that any
terrorist act or support of terrorist act can result in the death
penalty.
Oh great. Now you don't get away with just a speeding ticket for doing 100 mph (sorry again, Alberto) on a busy Interstate, you can now get executed for a traffic violation.

Now all we need are the organ banks . . .

Who guides the stars with steadfast law,
Whose least creation fills with awe,
O grant thy mercy and thy grace,
To those who venture into space.
