By the way, I did consider that the "program" could end faster by allowing the R's to toggle switch B either on or off (if they had previously seen switch be change state) to send their signal. But I thought it would be more robust to add at least some possibility of error checking (even if it cannot catch all errors), after all, some of these prisoners could have gone insane from this crazy game, and better to stay in prison than get fed to the alligators.
