And quite frankly, I haven't got a clue as to what's wrong with including the historically relevant "Make love, not war" in messages about an upcoming war, why someone who knows its origins would start thinking about my sex life because of it, or why it would be "intentionally offensive" to tell people they should be nice to each other rather than shoot at each other.
And no, JDG, don't bother to reply off-list -- your messages will be ignored. If you have something to say about this, say it on-list.
