I have little device called a Zio! by Microtech. I have an iPAQ and a Nikon Coolpix 885, both of which use Compact flash. I have a 256MB CF in both of them. Whenever I want to copy pictures or load documents or spreadsheets, I just place the CF in the Zio! and plug it into the USB port and presto! a new removable drive. Neat and fast.
