Actually, I'm the one looking for census data on the Uplift planets. Alberto was very helpful in correcting some errors in my database. He also suggested we could all guess on the population figures if an error of 1 magnitude is acceptable. I'm not comfortable with that much error though.
When I emailed Alan Dean Foster, he invented, oops, I mean determined, an accurate population for the planet Moth. Maybe Dr. Brin will do the same for his worlds. I'd be happy to get an aggregate population for each planet, or even better, a breakdown by species... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of J. van Baardwijk Sent: Wednesday, October 16, 2002 3:04 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: The Multiverse Database At 12:44 16-10-2002 -0300, Alberto Monteiro wrote: > > I also need some population data for these planets. > > >Hmmmm... An error of 1 magnitude is acceptable? :-) Maybe our good Doctor will get that sort of data into the next Uplift trilogy.
