Well, I *did* say that if he asked nicely, someone might be willing to put 
those files up on their website for him.

Anyone can subscribe to Brin-L through Yahoo!Groups, so I do not consider 
posting a file there "limiting the circulation". If you want to limit 
circulation of a document, you mention that you have that document and are 
willing to send it to interested parties, provided they will not distribute 
it further.
