I test my tree using A9x4, A15x1, A15x2 and A15x4 models. The same
UEFI binary (the A15MPCore one) works on all A15 models.
I tend to use the A15x1 model with the A15MPCore binary for any models
work I do, because the single core models seem to run faster than the
multicore ones. But I don't use the models much other than testing
that they work.
I build the UEFI binary like this:
$ uefi-build -b RELEASE rtsm_a15mpcore
I tend to use release binaries because debug binaries have a habit of
crashing inexplicably.
