We (Linaro) currently don't use U-Boot on ARMv8 and I don't believe such
a port exists at the moment; I've just had a recent exchange with an
upstream U-Boot developer interested in this support:

The short answer is that at the moment we're using a boot wrapper (which
combines the boot loader and kernel in a single file), and we expect to
switch to Tianocore (UEFI) when it's available.
