What's the tarball's layout going to look like? Cmakebeta3 has a
radically different structure to it compared to earlier releases. -sc

And there are usually some changes during the beta period.
I pulled Hartmut's patch minutes after he committed it, but thanks
for the heads-up. New changes during the beta period are unlikely
to affect the cmake build, and from out here in gitland merging in
the new stuff as it comes is really easy, so I'm asking that people
beat on the beta.
