Is Their a Later Version of Speechd-up?

Hi All: Trying to install Allison embedded voices from Voxin, but running an 
apt install speechd-up  it produces errors in version 0.5 from 2011. Right now 
on this main desktop machine we have a DecTalk U S B but would like to try 
Allison, also, maybe easily switch back-and-forth. Supposedly there is 
speak-with? Can I run both this DecTalk-and-Allison together? Thanks so much in 
advance.
