Well Karen-and-All, I guess we can say our DecTalks are speech 
synthesizers-and-software such as Vocal-Eyes, Speakup, Jaws, and NVDA are 
screen-readers. At least those are the ways I understand it. By the way, I 
closely examined the man-page even cut-and-pasted an example, still receive the 
same errors.
