That's not even supported with showSaveFilePicker() <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window/showSaveFilePicker>. I don't think that's a feature of the File System Access API at all, only *save as a file*. Is the actual bug that you're reporting that showDirectoryPicker({mode: 'readwrite'}) <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window/showDirectoryPicker#mode> doesn't work as intended?
