Well we did get a social security increase of 8.7 percent this year but
rents have generally gone up and still other prices are increasing as
well. Then there are things like unexpected medical expenses that
insurance (even if you have it) doesn't cover. I get the care home
situation too. I used to be in one when we only got $60 a month. I am
employed now but only very part-time although I am very grateful for
that. I was given an echo dot and play some games on that which are
free but increasingly even those games are getting where you have to pay
to get many of the features.
