I'm running windows 10. I keep getting stuck in the lift. It makes the
same long lift sound, the one with the creak in the middle, no matter
whether I go up or down arrow, and it doesn't let me exit when I press
space. I can push the up and down arrows 10 times and the sound is the
same. It doesn't even really seem to be changing floors. I'm not sure
what that particular sound means.
The only way I can play again is to close and restart the app. I got
stuck when exploring in the tutorial and I got stuck again after
restarting the game and completing my first delivery to a room.
Speaking of switching floors on the lift, when it does work, I have to
tell you that is the sharpest, most obnoxious lift beep I've ever heard.
Would it be possible to change the sound to something lower? The one
currently being used slices my ear drums and I'm not even playing with a
headset at the moment.
The slow response time that makes you have to wait a couple seconds
between key presses to make any progress drives me insane, too, but I
imagine that's a feature, not a bug.
