Hi,

they actually don't make the same sound. You hear a sort of reverse cue sound when you press the correct key, if you have that option enabled, which I think it is by default. just do first tutorial and listen carefully and you'll see what I mean. as to the racer question, try turning your music volume down. this way you can hear other sounds more clearly. Yeah I agree, it's insane how many accessibility features he crammed into the game. keep in mind this guy's 100% sighted! and when you play this, you'd swear this dude started developing for the audio game scene years ago. truth is, he didn't even know about this whole audiogame thing. 2 months ago, this game was 100% inaccessible! he didn't even have tts implemented. since then he's been cranking out updates at an alarming rate. now you see why I encourage everyone to buy this.

Hi,
I just got started on this and seriously, this is incredible. The amount of accessibility details in this game are staggering. The thing that threw me off was how every key makes the same sound when you press it, regardless of what you are repeating. Also how do you turn up the volume of your actual racer? Since in yours, it seems like you can really hear the speed boost.

Any other hints/tips? I literally started on the demo 15, 20 minutes ago, and I'm probably going to play until I can't and then just hit buy game from there. For anyone who even has a passing interest, please buy it, and tell all your friends. It isn't often a games developer is so enthusiastic and willing to go above and beyond.

Here you go. To wet your appetite. two files. First one is Welcome to Demon Space using the first audio cues mode, which is the listen and react mode. I also have cue confirmations enabled, which plays a confirmation sound to tell you you have pressed the correct button. The game uses 9 different inputs, which you will learn once you play the tutorial levels. There's also a sound you hear which means you must hold a note down. I think it'll be self explanatory once you hear it. anyway that'll give you an idea how things sound:

here's the same track, this time with confirmation cues off, and I also use the pure reaction based mode. as you'll see, it is much more difficult, although I think I did better on that one somehow. hahaha.
