Hi.
You'll need to talk to the wizard while still holding the notebook I
think. Someone else pretty much said the same thing so that's probably
right. After you do the first step then you should be able to give them
everything. To be on the safe side, try talking to him on every step
that involves him before you start handing him things to see if he does
anything.
