    Yeah, that's really weird.  In XP Pro, the Hosts file is under
  I386, but
  in
    XP Home, Vista and Win 7, it is under Drivers/Etc, which is in
  a totally
    different location.

   In that case, I'm afraid you can't speak for the majority of

   users,
   as most computer users use XP home edition, and the folder
  outlined in
  the
   post is located exactly where it says, in the Windows, System32,
  Drivers,
   ETC folder in the Local disk drive.

   I was a bit confused when I followed the directions in the post
  and
  found
   the folder exactly where it was, then when I went to look for
  the folder
   you
   mentioned, I had no trace of it, so it would seem that the
  folder may be
   in
   a different location if you're using Windows Pro versions.
