You are such an abundance of great knowledge!
This is exactly what I needed and I wish I
thought of this question for the list 5 years
ago. I have been recording a radio program of old
radio shows on Sunday night all those years from
7 to 11 PM and by the time it finished with the
conversion to MP3, it is usually 11:20 PM. By
that time I am tired and wanted to go to bed an hour earlier.
I will try it out next Sunday. What a great time saver!
One question though. You mentioned that you can
either shutdown with the S switch or
restart with the R switch. Can I use H for
hibernation which is what I prefer? If not, I will just do a shutdown.

use Karen's Replicator, that combined with a
shutdown command in a batch file I created does
exactly what you are asking. I normally run my
backups at the end of the day before turning in.
What I do is start them out and when Replicator
is finish the batch file shuts the system down.
The other manner you could accomplish this task
is to make a good guess as to when the job in
question will be finished and set the system to
shut itself down at or slightly after that time.
