yes ma'am, that's the way to do it. I use a VR Stream with a 16/gb Kingston 
Data Traveler SD card. You are right on track though, smiles and  happy 
reading.

Thank you very much.  This makes me feel much better.

What I am trying to do is, after I unzip (and I know how to do this) the
books I have downloaded from BARD, to put them on the thumb drive so I can
remove it from my Win 7-home laptop (using JAWS 13) and plug it (the thumb
drive) into my digital book machine so I can read the book.
