I'm not 100% that this will help you, but you might want to give it a try: 1. Tap ALT to move to the ribbon. 2. Navigate to the Home tab. 3. Press enter to open the home menu. 4. Press TAB until you get to Line and Paragraph spacing. This is around 30 plus presses of the TAB key. Of course there is a short cut, but I believe in doing it manually first. 5. Press enter to open this menu and arrow down to something that says options. 6. Tab until you get to a check box that talks about space between paragraphs and check or uncheck it as needed.
Hopefully this will do the trick. When I hit a hard carriage return, it puts an entire line between paragraphs which I don't want, and also Jaws does not show the space when arrowing up and down through the document. Is there a way to fix this? I've not set any paragraph settings or line spacing or anything different than what was out of the box. I really wish Microsoft would not impose these sort of assumptions. Thanks in advance for any help you might have. I need to find a solution ASAP.
