Ok, some other guys on a local mailing list also reckoned it would be better
to go slow rather than too fast in this regard.

From my point of view, whenever I hear a tutorial where Jaws is spoken
faster than the person making the recording, I usually end up not
listening to it at all.
Quite honestly, I cannot follow any speech synthesizer that is too fast.
My Jaws rate is set at 53 which is 11%.
Others may not have the same problem that I have. perhaps it is because
that I am hard of hearing?
