On my Toshiba laptop, I can turn the mouse pad on and off with the press of a button just above the mouse pad. Once I was able to get the multimedia touch panel (located above the keyboard) turned off, I fell in love with my computer.

These keystrokes along with the FN key + up / down arrows, if they will work on this laptop, will be her best bet for changing her volume level on the fly until she learns to navigate this computer keyboard better. I have no laptop keyboard skills & I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what keystrokes I need to use to increase / decrease volume. This is a new computer as well & I need to Tandem up on this computer with her. All help will be greatly appreciated.
