Isn't it possible to set up archive folders in an alternative location when
using Outlook? Not sure how this might work with other programs, nor do I
know how to go about setting up archive folders in outlook.

Hi Jerry,
No, you can not copy and paste messages from Windows Mail to a folder
outside of the program.
This is also true of Outlook Express.
However, you can export messages from Windows Mail to another folder on the
hard drive using the export wizard.
Now, having said that, here is the catch.
The folder you are exporting to must be empty, and the file names will
contain letters and numbers with the .eml extension.
I haven't tried this yet, but you might try saving the messages with a new
name, before exporting them.
The folder which has the focus at the time you run the export wizard, is the
one which will be exported.
HTH,

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Email Folders

I have created a folder for emails from the blind computing email list. I
use Windows Mail and JAWS 11. What I was wanting to know was can I copy or
cut the emails from this folder and save them to a folder on my external
hard drive?

Many Thanks.
