Or easier still, you can install the latest version of Adobe Reader using Ninite Installer.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Concerning acrobat reader

Hello,
I keep getting this extra annoying update reminder in my system tray. I
think it gets in the way of other things running, or slows them down, should I just click on the update and let it have it's way, or is there something I can do to either make acrobat reader update automatically, or get rid of it from the system tray? There was an email which went around a long time ago
warning not to do acrobat reader updates because of some virus scam going
around, but that's probably been years ago. I am running w
indows xp home and using jaws 12.

Thanks,

Matt
