In the fb email isn't there a link to add the friend or confirm them? Every
time I get a friend request I just follow the link to confirm them in the
email.

I just hopped back onto fb about a month ago so still trying to reaquaint
myself with the social beast.

with me but when I went into my Face book acount there were no new friend
request.
does anyone know why Face book would send an email saying I had a friend
request when there is none?
I am using the regular site for Face book.
