It is most likely using a bit of a strange path to the picture or something.

I don't really use word etc. for this type of thing, but where was the picture before you pasted/inserted it into the word document?

Otherwise, when you then, from within word save the document as a webpage, is that file - possibly now renamed - being put into a subfolder where you save the HTML file, and if it's there, did you upload the folder and it's contents as well to the web server as such?

Lastly, if you right click on the image space in the webpage, is it possible to tell it to show the picture/save it, etc., since if not, then it means it can't find it up there as such, and you could aslo try viewing the source of the page, and look for the relevant <img tag, etc.

Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Inserting a picture into a web page with Word 2007

I use MS Word 2007 as my html editor.
I use it to maintain a website, and it has worked quite well for me with
JAWS.
However, I now want to insert a graphic, a logo for our website.
The logo is a jpg file.
When I insert it in Word 2007, it looks good.
But when I upload the page to the website, and go to that page on the
website with Internet Explorer,
The picture doesn't show up -- just an empty square.
Should the picture be in a different format?
Or is there something else I need to do with it.
Blessings,
Tom
