Yeah, I know, but at the high level required, it's really tough to find 
anything.  I have been a college student for four years straight, and this is 
the only method that is consistent.  Another alternative is to purchase the 
print addition, then have your school's disability office contact the publisher 
for an electronic file, which you can then dump to your OCR software.  I have 
also used this method, with moderate success.  The only problem is that we, as 
students, can't contact the publisher ourselves, it must be a school rep.  It 
can also take a little bit for the publisher to get the copy to your school, 
they don't seem to realize that we need them at the beginning of the semester.
Unfortunately my friend, these are the most reliable methods.  There just 
aren't audio sources of books at the collegiate level.

Hi Scot,
     You might want to try book share. They sometimes carry textbooks. I am 
using one in my college class.
     Alternitively, you may want to scan the books in to your computer and use 
OCR. I use the HP scan jet 5000 and the OCR software that came with it. 
It is pricy but sometimes doing it yourself is the only way to get what you 
need.
