Dear Jackie and Frank,
Thank you so much. That article was exactly the trick. It worked, and it
was easy to follow, since the registry is something that scares me. My
problem has been solved, and I am truly grateful.
With gratitude and kind regards,
Melissa

Melisa, I seriously doubt this is a Jaws problem. The thing that makes it
tough is that it occurred approximately the same time as jaws 12, but, truth
be told, it could also have occurred because of a program being updated of
which u were unaware.

Since I'm new to this list & have no desire to try combing thru the archives
to find what you've posted previously (sorry, just don't have the time),
then I'm going to suggest that u check the tools > options
> security tab in outlook & that u also check your antivirus settings.
In addition, if this is your work computer, e.g., u r not its admin, then u
also need to check w/your system administrator to see if settings have been
changed there. Additionally, if u have firewall software installed, then
possibly this may also be the cause--& note that this can include a firewall
in your router.

I really do wonder if perchance an update to Outlook's security settings is
what might have caused your difficulty. The fact that u installed Jaws 12 at
or around the same time may well be purely coincidental in this case, but it
sure can be enough to throw one off, can't it?

Gl w/that.
