Hello: Personally I find this feature to be invaluable when using Jaws, as many of the Jaws keys I use frequently are near the Insert key and it alleviates the slow down that results from trying to press several keys concurrently. I wish NVDA had this feature.

Any key pressed immediately after pressing the INSERT key is treated as if it were pressed in combination with the INSERT key. The checkbox is cleared by default. Hope this helped. Take care.
