Yes, Magic and ZoomText can allow you to point to text and have it spoken
out.  If you do not need screen enlargement, take a look at products put out
by Premier Software at URL:

Readingmadeeasy.com

I think there is another product called Text to Speech.  These are both
products that are designed for people who have learning disabilities.
Another product to check out in this same category is WynnWizard from
Freedom Scientific.

I think MAGic does this. I also think ZoomText does but am not sure on that.
