Ahh, well, my friend figures that I deleted something I needed from windows a 
while back, that's why he suggests the full re-install.

  It's a standard windows thing, and unless some other app is hijacking it, it 
  should still work, but it's just possible that jaws is possibly not telling 
  you that whatever has been copied to the clipboard, while it still has...?

  Maybe test that just to make sure.
