I am currently using Vista as well and also have the problem. Sometimes I think this problem existed in 10 but there was no announcement. It does this on occasion when my system, like when IE is grinding away or downloading or simply slow. Does anyone tracked down where this code or known how long this timeout interval is or if it can be changed? I tried to turn it off in the "Adjust JAWS Verbosity" dialog (Insert + V) last night. It randomly spoke the announcement while it was idle and I was sleeping. I could not find how to turn this option off in Configuration Manager. I am about to call FS support about this new fs feature.
