Samson,

I had a similar question a few weeks back. I had always used
some of the tools through the administrative tools but found
out attempting to set up partitions through the Graphical
User Interface (G U I) was nearly impossible with JAWS.
Another group member on this list, Jon, steered be toward
using the diskpart command via the run command. I have to
tell you that with a bit of research and practice it is a
breeze and I love it. Below are two references I found that
you may find helpful. the first is an article that discussed
diskpart a bit. The second link is actually a table with the
commands, their syntax, and a description of what each one
will do. Good luck
Al

Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] partitioning removable disk

Hi friends,

I am using )Jaws 10 and Windows Xp. Recently I acquired a
removable 300 Gb.
Hard disk and I am interested in creating three partitions
on it. Will be
much obliged, if someone can give step by step directions on
how to do it.

Thank you.

Samson
