Hi Samson,
I was finally able to do an erase to unformat the CDRW successfully.
I had problems before trying to erase the CD, but somehow I got it to
work okay.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Tom and Mike,
The CDRWs that I have are already formatted and yes I can copy and
paste files to it. What I want to do is to completely remove the
formatted information and restore the CDRW to its original
condition. In other words, I want the CDRW to be just like it was
when I purchased them. I cannot burn MP3 data files to it being
that it is formatted to accept pasted files.
Thanks for your help.

Lenny,
Windows explorer allows you to reformat an RW disk.
Wouldn't that leave it clean for whatever other files you want to put on
it?
Just put the disk in the drive and open Windows Explorer.
File, Format
Blessings,
Tom
