But then again. I listened to a Podcast on a Netbook similar to the one I
am getting earlier tonight. I almost forgot. He was making it work very
well. This pod cast was done in January. It seemed to be working really
fast and the audio seemed to be working very well. He did it with Jaws and
NVDA.

I would go with xp on netbooks. The atom processor is especially designed
for netbooks and was optimized at the time to run either xp or linux
software. It may run but again you will meet minimum requirements at best.
So personally I would stick with xp for it and then just upgrade to windows
7 in your more powerful other laptop, I believe it was?

Betreff: Re: [Blind-Computing] Windows 7

I just purchased a Netbook. I am waiting for it to get delivered this week.
Do you think I should wait on buying Windows 7? Will there be no benefit
in doing that? I only purchased on License for Windows 7. I was about to
pre-order another but I have it on hold. Considering you have a Netbook you
might know a good answer. Will it run smoother on XP or Windows 7?
