To make sure we're on the same page here, before trying to run Juice on a Vista machine, find the desktop icon that the installer would have created, once that icon is highlighted, hit alt+enter. This will bring up the Properties dialog, which has several tabs. Ctrl+tab to the compatibility tab and put a check in the box that says "run in compatibility mode." The next control will let you choose what operating system to be compatible with, and I imagine it will default to whatever you are running. If this doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas.
