The question is not whether this external drive is a good value. The real
question is how easy is it to set up and format without sighted assistance.
Do you need to install special software which may not be JAWS accessible to
use it? Or can you just plug it into a USB port and be good to go?

Hi Rogelio,
Only you can decide whether that's a good price or not.
Personally, I don't think it is, as you can actually get a 500 gig
external
drive for about the same price, possibly no more than 10 dollars more.
What type of drive is it?
Is it self-powered, or does it require a power source in which to run.
Is it bulky, about an inch and a half in height, or slim, about half an
inch
to a full inch?
I could see one of the powerless USB powered hard drives going to that
much,
but again, for a few dollars more, you could obtain a 250 or 300 gig unit.
In any case, I guess whether it was a good price or not really depends on
you, as you know what you can afford, and so if 79 dollars was what you
could afford, then it was truly a good price.
If you could have afforded more, then it may not have been a good price,
and
you might have settled for less than you could have gotten.
Just my thoughts, which you asked for in the first place. Smile.
