Thanks to both Rick and Jacob for the good information about adding
headings. Both methods work with Word 2003.

Now I can get on with the iTunes beginner tutorial I am working on. I
strongly feel that iTunes works well enough without putting out more money
on scripts and want to share my beginner experiences. If anyone knows of a
beginner tutorial that is not auditory please let me know and I won't waste
my time duplicating work. I personally prefer written tutorials since it is
easier to take notes for future reference. Auditory explanations are good
for an overview in my opinion, but I like step by step directions I can
follow at my own pace.
So thanks so much,
Sherrie

Hi Sherry,
You didn't say which version of Word you are using.
I'm using Word 2000, and I use the key combination of Alt + Control, plus
numbers 1 thru 4, for heading levels.
Example: Alt + Control + 1 = heading level 1.
Of course, at this point, you are not really working in a Word doc, but
rather an html document.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Putting headings into Word docs

Hi,
Is there an easy way to designate headings in a Word doc so that when it is
saved in html one can navigate by the headings?
I looked at the From the keyboard tutorial but there was nothing about
adding or designating headings.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
