I had no difficultty installing IE 8, but using XP ProSP3 with JAWS 9.0.2169, it does not seem to be any faster than IE 7 using a DSL connection. The only problems I have noticed so far with IE 8 is that the JAWS Read Address Bar command, Insert-A, does not work, and pages containing embedded Real Player audio will not play.

That happened to me yesterday when I was installing IE 8 and the program was PDF Creator. I simply deleted that version and installed the more up to date software and everything is fine again.

IE 8 is great so far and it works a lot faster than the previous version.

Thought I had it made with I.E. 8. but........
Every time I launched it, I got the annoying "boink" noise, and a message
about some program corrupting some damn search option or other.
 So, I went back to i.e. 7.
