Yes, you can purchase a shell or case for the hard rive. There are different sized cases, so you will need to know what your hard drive looks like before you head out to a computer store. When I bought mine, CompUSA was still in business. I have no idea if MicroCenter, Best Buy or Radio Shack carry them. You will need sighted help to install the hard drive in the case. After that you just plug it into your USB port and just access it as another drive.
