Sorry, I'm quite behind on e-mail. I do understand that if you choose run
or save you must save it to a folder because it is going to download. The
second part of my question is: If I choose open it will just go to Win-Amp
or whatever media player and play the file but not save it to my computer?

Hi Debbie,

If I understand you correctly, yes you either have to choose " run " or "
save " and press enter. Then, you choose what folder you want to save or
download it into. Once you have saved it somewhere, go to that folder to
play whatever it is you have just saved. I hope I didn't just confuse the
hell out of you. Take care.

Hi list, let's say, for example, I go to a website, and open the
file for Today'sO'ReillyFactorOnSendspace. Am I correct in assuming that
just opening it will send it to my player such as Win Amp, and it hasn't
downloaded anywhere? I can't find it when I hit the windows key and F and
type it in the search box. If I wanted to save a file like that, I would
actually have to enter on save?

Debbie
