When you make an immage of your install, how do you go about getting it reinstalled? I am assuming that there are things that have to be done when you put the cd or what ever media back in to install from? If it's as easy as just popping it in, booting and waiting that will be just what I am looking for. Thanks for the idea. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[email protected]>

I'd like to do that same thing, but I need something that can image to an
external hard drive.

Jeremy:

Get yourself a copy of image for windows. Had to reformat my system
recently and used this program and my system was up and running within an
hour. Speech and all. Best $40.00 I spent in a long time.

----- Original Message ----- Hello list. I think this has been discussed on this list before but I just
can't seem to find anything about it going through my old mail so here it
goes. I had to do a format and reinstall of win xp not to long ago and
would
like to find a way to ghost my xp so it's easier the next time around to
get
going again. I have all the drivers for my machine but it's just a pain to go through everything over and over and would be much better if I had some
sort of immage or what ever to just reinstall from. Is it possible to get
a
computer the way you want it, drivers installed, screen reader configured,
etc and make an immage of this to reinstall when something bad goes on or
is
it more accessible and or easier to just make an unattended cd and go
through the format and install that way. Any info on accessibility of
ghosting, how it works, what's the best way to do this would be awsome.
Hope
all are well.
