Hi, You are right. If there are no old snapshots we should not ask the question.
About ionice. I really think that the user should be able to choose if he want to use ionice (and only to lower priority) when BIT runs as a cronjob and when it runs by a user action. In the first phase we can give only the choice to use or not ionice and not different levels. If he want to use ionice we can setup it up to best effort class 7 as you did (ilde may be to lower). I'll made the changes.
