** Also affects: backintime (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Karmic Amd64, same problem, no su-to-root https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472996 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Back In Time Team, which is subscribed to Back In Time. Status in Back In Time: New Status in “backintime” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I am running Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) and am trying to run "Back in Time (root)" from the Applications menu. Initially it wouldn't start at all, I modified the command from "su-to-root -X" to "gksudo -S" hoping that it would solve the problem. Now I get a window at the bottom stating that "Back in Time (root) is starting" but then it disappears and nothing happens. Is this a known issue and is there anything that I can do to try and fix this? FYI: The su-to-root version gives me this message: Failed to execute child process "su-to-root" (No such file or directory) Thanks, Steve _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~bit-team Post to : bit-team@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~bit-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
