Status in Back In Time: Confirmed Bug description: Hi, first of all thanks for this nice tool. I'd like just to note you about the fact that it is not possible to 'deploy' the application in a custom prefix the way it is widely used by most of the source distributions. The situation is when you try to install this in some subdirectory within your home because you don't have write permissions on /usr. Something like «./configure --prefix=$HOME/software/backintime» is not possible. The Makefile is quite easy to fix, just edit it but, when you try to add a job, the entry in the crontab has «/usr/bin/backintime», again not so complex to fix, but, also the locales are expected to be in '/usr/share/locale'. Changing things manually did the trick but I think it is good to have this support. Again, thanks for this nice tool. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~bit-team Post to : bit-team@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~bit-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
