Hi,

All contributors are welcome :)

I want to use the mailing list address as a contact address. This is why is not public. But then again this is not a good idea.

BIT Team is able to commit in the main branch, this is why it is not public. It is not close either :) For the moment you can checkout the code and try to get familiarized to. Of course if you have any question don't hesitate to email us. You can create a branch so you can change the code without affecting the main branch. Keep in mind that GUI changes must be reflected in both Gnome & KDE4 versions. If you fix a bug / make a nice feature you can ask for a merge. Then f all the team members agree you can became a BIT Team member.

Best regards,
Dan

Hi back-in-time people,

I really love back in time. I think it's the best backup solution for the linux desktop I've seen in a long while, however I think it could really use some UI love to make it truly truly *the* backup client for Linux desktop. For instance, creating a snapshot should give more visible feedback that the application is busy. I'd really like to work with you guys on UI/UX for back in time. I've also noticed that your mailing list is closed off, I couldn't subscribe as a non-member, and the team is not free to join. Are contributions not welcome?
