Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 17:00:00
Total observation time: 10 hours

Official Counter: Chris Burris

Observers: Dave Brown

Visitors:
Thanks to Dave B. Kitty B., Tom S., and visitors who assisted with spotting
on this rather busy day.

Weather:
Temps from (C to 16C with variable cloud; moderate NNW/N winds throughout
day with occasional gusts.

Raptor Observations:
We broke 2000 today, led byTurkey Vultures, which were undoubtedly
undercounted. Triple digits for Sharp-shins and Kestrels. A few Broad-wings
were still moving through, and Red-shouldered numbers are up. Most notable
were the five Golden Eagles, including at least one impressive adult bird.

Non-raptor Observations:
In all,at least 50 species noted, including a fly-by Wilson's Snipe. eBird
list here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S278079037

Predictions:
Winds are set to shift from NE to E to SE throughout the day, so expect the
best numbers before the shift begins.
