Thanks to Chad for being the official counter today, and thanks to Chip,
Noel, and Bob for helping with the count today. Caine (Illinois), Dennis,
Sharon and Al (Pt. Colborne) all took a keen interest in the migration
today.
Weather:
Warm and mostly clear skies with minimal wind.
Raptor Observations:
First of the season Peregrine and Northern Harrier topped the list (8).
Non-raptor Observations:
List can be found here https://ebird.org/checklist/S271312113
Good diversity warblers; Blue-winged Teal, Hairy Woodpecker,
Red-breasted Merganser first of the season.
Predictions:
Wind is predicted to be from the northwest and temps a bit cooler, so
hopefully a better turnout of raptors.
