As data collection is winding down, our focus is shifting to ensuring data
are getting entered into the Atlas.

*Free webinar tonight! (August 19)*
Tonight, we are hosting a special Sappy Hour (online meeting) where we'll
go over how to enter data and also how to import your checklists from eBird
to the Atlas.

We will focus on tips, tricks, and reminders for entering data via the
NatureCounts web portal as well as importing checklists from eBird. And
you can find out how to win binoculars with this month's challenge! We’ll
also be answering any data entry or other Atlas-related questions you may
have!

The event will also be streamed on Facebook Live

*Do you have eBird checklists from 2021-2025?*
Some people have recently reached out to say they thought their eBird data
automatically made it into the Atlas - this isn't the case! But it is easy
to import your checklist into the Atlas. Tune in to our Sappy Hour to find
out how. More information about eBird and the Atlas is at
https://www.birdsontario.org/ebird/

*Submit or import checklists for a chance to win binoculars*
Every checklist you submit (or import from eBird!) this month will get you
an entry for a chance to win a pair of Vortex Diamondback binoculars!
August 31 is the deadline for peak season data to be entered. More
information at https://www.birdsontario.org/challenge/

Happy Atlassing
